Nail Repair

Oh my goodness! It has been waaay too super long since my last post. Uni has just been ridiculous but now the year has finally finished! Which means that hopefully I can begin to post heaps more :)
Today's post is about nail repair, in particular, my toe nails. I have appalling toenails it's actually ridiculous. I am so embarrassed by them that I have chosen not to even up load a photo of them to this post hahaha. They're not really that bad, but were definitely in need of some TLC.
So in the picture are the items that I used today to give myself a little pedicure. I started by removing all my (red) nail polish as it had been on there for freaking ages and needed to go. I then went in with clippers and a file to straighten my nails up.
Next, I used the 4 part buffer and shiner stick to smooth out my nails and give them a natural looking shine. And finally, applied a coat of clear Avon nail repair nail polish. My nails already look and feel so much better!
I think that it is important to look after your nails and feet in general as they carry you everywhere you go! And besides, having a little mini pamper session with a cup of tea and youtube on in the background was a lovely way to relax this afternoon ♡

Meiskin Breast Balance Formula

Oh. My. Gosh.

I purchased the Meiskin Breast Balance formula just the other night off their website, as I have seen and read a little bit about it, and wanted to try it out for myself! I bought it during their 20% off Valentine's special for a total of $34.00 AUD including postage.

This little beauty smells absolutely divine. The scent, I believe, is a mix of the confectionery lolly things called musk sticks and fairy floss… It's gorgeous!

It feels amazing when applying as well. It leaves my chest and breast area feeling soft and supple and lovely. I cannot wait to use it again, I am that in love!

There are a couple other products that this company, Meiskin, offers that I wouldn't mind trying some time in the near future :)

Until then, check out their website:

Tea Tree Oil & Sweet Almond Oil

Happy Monday!

Today I'm posting about two products that I have started using very recently (as in started yesterday!); tea tree oil and sweet almond oil. My Mum suggested the tea tree oil to me for use on these blemishes that just popped up pretty much out of no where last week! My skin hasn't been that bad since probably year 10 or so! (nearly 4 years!). I am still unsure as to what caused all the breakouts :(

I have used the tea tree oil on my face twice now, and I can happily say that I have seen an improvement in the condition of my skin :) I will be definitely continue using it. All I do is wash my face as normal, then pat dry. Then using three separate cotton balls, I apply the tea tree oil in three stages: 1. forehead, 2. my cheeks just at the sides of my nose, and 3. my chin. These are the places that I have blemishes currently. Using the three separate cotton balls on the different areas helps to ensure that I am not spreading any of the dirt/bacteria to another place.

I purchased the sweet almond oil over the weekend after reading about the benefits that it can provide while researching something that may seem a little odd! I was researching on how to maintain a youthful chest actually, as funny as that sounds! I think one of the most major things aside from the face that ages a woman is her chest/neck/breast area. I wanted to find more effective ways or more targeted solutions for this specific area, other than just using a normal all over body moisturiser. I came across a bunch of uber expensive creams and lotions, and I just really didn't want to be spending that much for something that may not even work!

This was when I decided to search for 'natural & home made remedies', and thus discovered sweet almond oil. I purchased mine from Priceline (in store) for $16.99 AUD. I have also used this oil twice now, and oh my gosh, I am in love already! It has no scent, but this is good because it means it won't cover up any perfume that I choose to wear. Being oil, it simply glides over my skin, and leaves it feeling soft and deeply moisturised. I used it last night, massaging it into my skin (chest, bust and neck) and did the same this morning after a shower. Even after only two uses, my skin feels amazing! So soft and supple. And without being weird, my breasts feel softer yet firmer and fuller/rounder already. So definitely going to continue using this product. And just quietly, it's no surprise that Tom is super willing to help me out with this! But gentle massaging is actually really good for keeping blood flowing and really making sure the oils get into your skin :) A bit cheeky but your chest will thank you for it now and in years to come!

Tuesday Things

Hello Again! Today my post is about a few different products that I used today/ loving lately :) These products cover moisturiser, lip balm, hand sanitizer and hair care. I am a sucker for beauty products, and  I always find myself wanting more and more! But I have to stop myself because I literally have baskets of products that I barely get around to using! However, I have made it my mission to go through most if not all of the products that I have and review them as best as I can, as descriptive as I can :) And in a lot of cases, I will compare products that I have to each other, like in this post. I hope you enjoy !

'Radox' Hand Sanitizer and 'Kleenz' Hand Sanitizer
Here are the two hand sanitisers that I currently own. I bought both of these for about $3.00 each from The Reject Shop, a budget store here in Australia. The Radox one smells so fresh, and the hydrating moisture beads are a lovely touch. This is a convenient size to keep in my handbag, and the flip cap lid means that it is not going to leak everywhere! It dries very well and leaves my hands smelling wonderful. The Kleenz brand is a larger size with a pump lid, so I keep that in my room on my dresser. This one also has the added moisture beads, and I find that it leaves my hands slightly softer, and this could be because of the aloe vera. This one does not smell as nice as the Radox one, but in no way does it smell bad. I am quite happy with both of these products, they seem to do their job well, and they last for ages!

Nutrimetics Lip Treatment 'Soin Des Levres'
I am absolutely in love with Nutrimetics and especially this lip balm! I haven't purchased Nutrimetics products in a few years, but I was given some for this Christmas just past, and this was one of them. It is absolutely wonderful. It is a pink stick that goes on clear. It is such a soothing and moisturising lip balm! The moisture lasts for a good length of time too. I use this nearly every single day. It is the perfect lip balm for my lips as they easily become dry. Not to mention the divine smell - if I had to describe it, I would probably say it smells like an apricot candle… if that makes sense! I 100% recommend this product for any lips. (Even my boyfriend sneaks a use!)

V05 hot oil 'give me moisture' hair treatment
I received this cute little pack as a gift the Christmas before last I believe, and only just got around to using it today! This pack contains four treatments. When I applied it to my hair in the shower, it instantly made it feel so soft and silky, I could already feel it working. I think next time I will heat it up a little more before using it though, as it didn't seem very hot for a 'hot oil' treatment. Once I dried my hair though, I wasn't really sure if this product had done anything or not to improve the condition of my hair… But I will definitely be using the other three treatment bottles over the next three weeks to see if prolonged use makes a difference :)

Vaseline Dry Skin Moisturiser
I have an immense amount of love for moisturisers as I am sure that you will eventually learn! This has got to be one of the best ones that I have ever used. I don't have incredibly dry skin, but it's dry enough to gain benefits from using a moisturiser like this. The smell is lovely, I really can't think of how to describe it though! The application is super smooth, not heavy or dragging on the skin. It is somewhat thinner in consistency and therefore glides over the skin with ease, while at the same time providing an intense moisturising. I love the way this leaves my skin feeling, so soft and supple. Another product I highly recommend!

Sugar Baby Sorbet Lip Balm in Cotton Candy
Last but not least is this super cute lip balm! Again I was given this as a gift for Christmas last year by one of my best friends. OMG it smells like girly heaven! Smells of lollies and cotton candy and sweet and delicious! Again, this is a pink lip balm that goes on clear. This one is more 'sticky' in consistency than the Nutrimetics lip balm. However, it also leaves my lips feeling lovely. And did I mention the amazing scent??!!
